Friendly get-togethers to play music, sing, drum, and learn.  Musicians, singers, professionals, amateurs, beginners, all musical levels and all kinds of instruments welcome. We have informal/casual gatherings where you can enjoy playing music and singing with other members, can meet friendly people, and get inspired by others.  Every meeting is a different combination! All musical levels, including beginners, are welcome, so long as you enjoy it!  Bring extra instruments if you have them.

The Songwriters Association of Washington of which I am a member is a long established Association that provides educational opportunities, open mics, networking, song circles, seminars, a monthly songwriters Toolbox session and other interesting activities. I am establishing this meetup to help unaffiliated songwriters join and find out more about activities.

Friendly, all-skill-level adult pianist group. Play something you are working on for others. Discuss practice methods, goals, pieces you want to tackle, and nuances of piano-playing. Listen to their comments on your playing, and offer yours on theirs. No teacher will be here (at least at first), just other pianists who usually play for themselves at home. Take a risk and hear what other pianists think about your playing. Meetings held near Burke, VA
