I recently (a few months ago, actually, but recent enough to still haunt me) "learned" that one MUST have formal training if one wants to write serious poetry. I believe the exact comment inlcuded something along the lines of: "You wouldn't let someone operate on you if they didn't have any medical training!?" What do you think? |
