FORTH MEETING

We all left with smiles on our faces, ceramic glaze on our fingers, and beautifully painted ceramic pieces. I can't wait to pick mine up in a week and decide who will get it as a Christmas gift. Hey, I may even keep it for myself.

THIRD MEETING

Blue moon Glass is simply awesome. We created a fused glass pendant and saw a demonstration on how to make glass beads with a torch. We had a small turn out but a delightful evening.

SECOND MEETING

We had our second meeting on Sept. 12. Four of us were able to attend. We had an interesting time making a water resistant painting with crayons and water colors. As Michelle said last month, "We have some talented people in this group!"

Gwen brought some beautiful sterling silver jewelry that she had made. She has successfully sold some of her jewelry at shows. After her recent trip to Tucson, she will surely have more creations to show us soon.

Monica said that she had not done anything creative in years. She made a beautiful painting at this meeting and we all hope she continues to explore her creative side.

Melody brought some glass beads she had made recently at Blue Moon Glass. Her goal is to make 100 glass fish so she can become an accomplished "fish bead artist".

We are all looking forward to the next meeting. Hopefully some of the members from the first gathering will be able to join us. We are also anxious to see the creative new people who will join us in October.

FIRST MEETING

We had our first meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 2007. Six of us showed up at Brick Oven with some of our
favorite art projects to share with others. We each decoupaged a frame with photos from magazines. The frames were beautiful when we were done.

We will see about meeting at an art studio next month. It was a very enjoyable meeting and wonderful to meet the members of the group. I'm looking forward to meetings to come...
