Dear Fellow Environmentalist,

The time has come this year for Maryland to take a stand on global warming. Governor O'Malley has shown himself to being open to reductions, but he needs to here from us that we care. As the largest environmental group in Maryland with 16,000 members, we have huge potential to mobilize and make sure the Governor does the right things. We need 80% reductions by 2050 so that we avoid the unmanageable and manage the unavoidable.

I am writing you, because I know you must understand why this is so important. The Sierra Club Climate Action Campaign is a perfect opportunity to make a big difference this fall. (although you do not have to be a member to join the campaign).

THE KICK-OFF MEETING In TOWSON

Thanks
